Notes from Underground - The return of Readers’ Windows and the Most read articles for the week ending 19 December 2020

By Darren Atwater | Sunday 20 December 2020

For the seventh year running, I’m looking for Views from Readers’ Windows. ShareProphets readers have sent in their views from every continent (except Antarctica – but we have had one from the Falklands Islands). We’ve seen pictures of warm, blue seas and, from the opposite end, that sad view from Steve’s window. For 2020, as an alternative of a view from your window, I will also accept a picture of your pet, preferably in action. Send them to ‘editorial@shareprophets.com’ and we’ll run them everyday between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

A new king has been crowned. After 10 weeks, who could stop the unstoppable Nigel Somerville for most-read non-Tom article? Could it be Peter Brailey? Was it Chris Bailey? Was it Gary Newman? Malcolm Stacey? Me? No, the killer article was written by… “Kenny” Dalgliesh on his very first try at a seriously good number two or at number seven, including Bearcasts and Tom’s new shareshow. There is a lesson here for us, but damned if any of us will learn it. Which one is the best of the week? Tell me in the comments.
