Standard and Charter Bank (STAN) has a capacity for issuing statements with blurred outlines, which contrast with the almost legal documentary offerings, by way of management statements, from other banks. Consider, for example, the Q1 management statement from HSBC (HSBA), which opened with a glossary of terms and acronyms with their definitions which you expect to find in a prospectus or a contact.
