It is slowly dawning on Lucian Miers that 100 miles is a long way to walk and thus he is cranking up the training as you can see below. Having moved to the grim North (Yorks) there is much bleating about the cold, rain and wind. But it is for a good cause.

Lucian and family plus reader N, the health Nazi, are walking to raise money to try and tackle the awful Motor Neurone disease which claimed my beloved uncle Richard Hobhouse. It is a ghastly way to go and there is no cure yet.

Family Miers has now raised the target fundraise for the May 18 walk to £6,000 and if you can spare a fiver (or more) think of Lucian whining about the Grim North and donate HERE
