The Nomad and broker team that brought us the Globo (GBO) fraud from Greece was RBC Capital Markets and Canaccord. This dynamic duo act for another Greek Company InternetQ (INTQ). And here I am - with a hat tip from a good reader - reporting on the spot in the Hellenic Republic with some very hard questions for InternetQ. The GlobalShortingConspiracy also has agents on the ground in Moscow and Poland as well as myself in Greece. This is, as they say, developing...

A stunning piece of work!
Your analysis raises more red flags than a May Day passing parade!
Market appears to have taken the questions asked very seriously Internetq currently down -26.73%!

Fantastic piece of research. Thoughtful and well argued. INTQ is on the way to being toast after this.

This company has been on my shorting watchlist since Globo blew up. This is a quite brilliant piece of work and I’ve now opened a short position. A forest of red flags fluttering away now.

Very detailed thank you. I see the report gets the BB response that BB’s reserve for excellent detailed primary source research, as I quote:-

This is an excellent piece. Do you know of any short interest from the likes of Matt Earl, Simon Cawkwell, Ben Edelman…? Did any of these gents help you to put this piece together? I see the footprints of at least one of them all over it – but I must be wrong or you would have given them a credit or even the byline…
Did you see that the CEO of Akazoo has been posting on the INTQ LSE BB?

Great article, really clear cut fraud of their products revealed. and lets face it, if their products are a fraud then the company is unlikely to be a winner.
What does make this a bit akward is that you once tipped this stock on your nifty fifty site and Zac tipped it 2 months ago. whoopsie.

Just for the avoidance of doubt we banked a 34% offer to bid gain in 7 months on INTQ when tipping it several years ago. since then we have been seriously sceptical (that is to say Steve & I have been). We were hoodwinked but got lucky and got our readers out ahead. We have been bearish since then.
As for Zak tipping it… well that is another red flag is it not?

Tom Winnifrith, can you disclose by whom this great article was written?

Stegrego’s right. The €2.6m convertible (maturing in March of 2015) lent to Aventurine in Feb 2012 has not been mentioned in RNS or AR since. They have either been repaid, own more of Aventurine or have extended the terms. There is a €2.8m non-current asset in 2013 & 14 ARs, so it may be in that.
Still, it’s only €2.6m.

I understand that you tie Globo with InternetQ. Besides the two CEOs being Greek, do they have any other connection?

I’m surprised Adele got anything like as many as 0.003% users on Akazoo – some people just have no ears (her wailing soundtrack genuinely dissuaded me from seeing the almost equally awful Skyfall at the cinema – no offence to Daniel there as he’s really rather good and can hardly be blamed). I get the high figure on Deezer as there’ll always be those attracted for sado-masochistic (don’t know if that should be hyphenated and am NOT going to enter it into a search engine) reasons to dreadful ‘talent’ show acts.

Just closed out me INTQ short ready for the inevitable sucker rally tomorrow, will get back on it if it rises again.
Congratulations Sheriff, think you deserve a bottle of Ouzo from Mr Chariot :)
