EXCLUSIVE: papers lodged to oust The Professor & Maureen Jones from Conroy at new GM: The Sheriff will be there!

By Tom Winnifrith, The Sheriff of AIM | Tuesday 8 August 2017

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

I can reveal that papers have this afternoon been lodged in Dublin with Conroy Gold & Natural Resources (CGNR) calling for a second GM to install three new directors: Paul Johnson, Patrick O'Sullivan and Gervaise Heddle. But after the sodomising of democracy that was the last GM, this time the rebels are also calling for the sacking of Professor Richard Conroy and his sidekick Maureen Jones. I will be going to this GM to back the rebels. The Sheriff will get his man, Prof Con you are on notice!

the Professor has brought, what will be an inevitable, downfall on himself. Last Friday's GM voted clearly to install the three rebels but although the company's Nomad Allenby had cleared this, Prof. Conroy used a technicality of dubious legality to block their appointment as described HERE. But even with the Professor blocking 800,000 votes for the rebels shareholders had voted 3.5 million to 3.1 million their way. Outside of the old board almost no-one opposed the rebs.

Still Professor Conroy could have saved his skin and that of Ms Jones had he agreed to weekend requests that he co-opt the rebel appointees to the board. that would have left it with 6 directors and with the Professor, as chairman, having a casting vote. But he refused. And so now it is all out war.

No-one outside the old board will vote to back the Prof so that is 3.1 million votes. Goodbody will not screw up its proxy again so that is 4.3 million votes for the rebs. And after the farce of last time there will be so much anger that the rebs will attract more support as each day goes on.

A friend in Dublin is securing someone who will make me their proxy so the Sheriff of AIM can attend, speak, expose and lambast the Professor and vote against him. I hope that other ShareProphets readers can find a way to be at the GM to join the posse. Prof Conroy you are on notice. You are now officially Irelands's most (un) wanted man.

After 83 year old Prof Conroy is pushed into retirement perhaps a few celebratory drinks would be in order. Does anyone know somewhere in Dublin that serves ouzo?
