Perhaps, when you are on the run from the Maltese Police, being investigated by the SFO, FCA, MFSA and ActionFraud and be chased over unpaid sums dating back, in some cases more than a decade, by 3 banks, the IRS, HMRC, Maltese tax authorities and two folks with CCJs, another Court case is the least of your worries. But for Julie “Lingerie on Expenses” Meyer that new Court case came a step closer today. PR legend Henry Gewanter has filed papers.
Gewanter is going after Meyer personally as well as one of her worthless shell companies in the Ariadne Ponzi, Ariadne Industries (AI). He is going down the small claims route, seeking £10,000 and the papers land at court today following a failure of Meyer and AI to pay up in the face of a letter before action. Meyer will be notified by the court and will have 14 days to respond and, if she does, 14 days to file a defence. If she fails to mount a defence, Gewanter will seek a summary judgement against her and if she can't or won't pay will send in the balifs.
Interestingly Meyer has notified Gewanter that she is not using the services of her bully boy lawyer Julian Pike of Farrer & Co - the man slammed by the Courts in Malta for illegal and unethical behaviour on behalf of Julie. I wonder, if Pike has now become the 18th lawyer not to be paid by Julie and has thus terminated his services?
This action was made possible by a crowdfund effort HERE and by a large donation from me. I hope Julie files a defence and shows up as there are a stack of other folks looking to serve her personally with various papers who’d be delighted to see her in Court. Indeed I shall fly back from Greece to enjoy the spectacle myself. Bring it on!
