You know what fun I have with training walks. Getting wet. Getting lost. Scrambling up nettle infested steep hills as a result of getting lost. It is all part of the build up to May 25 and the 33 mile Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks Charity walk. Today I have just finished my second serious training walk. After 11-12 miles to Swineford last Saturday , today I have just completed 16 miles. It would have been 15.5 but er...I got lost.
I did this walk despite having a nasty chest cold and though it was seriously windy and wet for most of the way. The mud of the last five miles was ghastly. I ended up at Hanham Locke where the Mrs bought me a pint of water. I hope that you can be more generous for I am now a sweaty wreck so will post photos tomorrow. But with eight other rogue bloggers also out training this weekend, I am sure you can make a small donation to a great cause.
Think of a 51 year old sweaty wreck arriving home caked in mud, show some pity and make a donation HERE
