Frontier Developments – interims argue “exciting plans”… but then why forecast downgrades again?!

Previously writing on videogames developer and publisher Frontier Developments (FDEV), in November with the shares down towards 1600p I concluded, although it argues its “future looks strong and our portfolio continues to grow”, with the valuation and clear new release performance uncertainty and admitted “wide guidance range is indicative of the variability of outcomes across our whole portfolio as we approach the important holiday season”, to continue to avoid. The shares last closed at 1772p, but today results and a trading update…
