Some of my fellow shareholders in Sosandar don't seem like the brightest sparks

By Tom Winnifrith | Sunday 5 November 2017

Disclosure: Financial Investigative Media Limited, which is not owned by Tom Winnifrith but by a trust for his dependants, owns shares in companies mentioned in this article. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

It seems that Thursday's RTO of Sosandar (SOS) at 15.1p went well enough. The shares closed Friday at 20p-21p and I am very confident indeed that we loyal shareholders would have a chance to sell at well over 30p before too long. This retailer will not be disappointing with its next trading statement which, I'm sure, will force brokers to increase forecasts. But some of my fellow shareholders don't seem to be the brightest sparks or my greatest fans. From the ADVFN asylum:

Looks like TW has bet his kids inheritance on this one, big named investors t'boot. 50% returns concerns me, I never experienced anything over 30% even when we sold fashion with US rather than UK sizing by mistake. All on their first post listing update, insiders implying 1 million turnover which would represent substantial increase on hobbyist revenue.

In a bearcast yesterday TW said he has 43,000 shares @ 15.1p. That's £6,500.
You do know you can look this stuff up online so you don't look foolish, don't you?

Tw is the biggest kh going.. But he would be laughing if he bought that many probably top sliced.. Crooks deal with crooks.

Just for the record, as per bearcast, I have invested £43,000 which is well under 10% of our portfolio but still a large sum to punt on one stock. And I have not sold a single share and won't be until 24 hours affter HSR advises its readers to bank gains.
