Dramatis Personae: The Mail on Sunday, a low grade rag whose financial pages ramp any scam going in return for scoops ( see Neil Woodford), Ben Harrington, a “journalist” close to fraudsters like Rob Terry and other colourful characters who will publish stories that suit the fraudsters and colourful characters which may or may not be true, Audioboom (BOOM) a grossly overvalued and overhyped tech play – see HERE – and Robert Bonnier a speculator whose share dealings have been a source of controversy for 23 years (see HERE). Today Audioboom served up shocking news.
In today's podcast I look at Audioboom (BOOM) where we bears are being well and truly vindicated. Then at the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and finally at Made.com (MADE) which I expect to go bust by Christmas.
As a long-term bear, yesterday’s interims only confirmed my belief that Asimilar (ASLR) will collapse. Emailed questions go unanswered, so perhaps readers can assist.
It is all panic here at the Welsh Hovel, as our first Sykes Cottages guests arrive in the annexe. Next week, our first paying guest arrives at the Greek Hovel - which you can rent HERE, although it is pretty much booked out until September. I start with B, and why you need multiple accounts to short; his triumph is on Verditek (VDTK). I then cover Dev Clever (DEV), Tirupati Graphite (TGR), Audioboom (BOOM), Corcel (CRCL) and Argo Blockchain (ARB).
I explain my anger, and why the weekend ahead will be sheer torture. Think of my suffering and donate to Rogue Bloggers, HERE. Then, put 10 September in your diary, and keep it free. More on that next week, when I shall be in Frogland with Joshua and Olaf. In today's podcast, I cover Versarien (VRS), Audioboom (BOOM) and Advance Energy (ADV). ).
I start with the usual. 94.5% of you are yet to donate, despite the cows, nettles and thorn bush of the weekend. Go on, just a tenner for Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks; you know it makes sense. Please donate, HERE. In today's podcast, I discuss Vin Murria and M&C Saatchi (SAA); the scoundrels at Ince (INCE) and Deepverge (DVRG); Vast Resources (VAST); Audioboom (BOOM); and finally, Tortilla Mexican Grill (MEX), as it buys Chilango. This looks all wrong - another member of the 2021 IPO hall of shame?
As you grow old, you should learn from investing. In that vein, I discuss my 1997 encounters with Adonis Pouroulis of Chariot Oil & Gas (CHAR), and why I'd not touch Chariot with a bargepole. I also discuss investing in a bear market, what we should do and the irrational decisions others will make, looking at AAA, Asimilar (ASLR) and Audioboom (BOOM). I then examine Guild ESports (GILD), and what I believe is an upcoming placing at 1p. That will also kick Cellular Goods (CBX) in the golden balls. Finally, I discuss renting out the Greek Hovel, as you can see HERE, and urge the 95% of listeners yet to donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks, to do so HERE.
In today's podcast, I suggest 3 questions you should ask of a certain speaker at UK Investor, and I shall be very proud of anyone who has the nerve to do so! I look at Eurasia Mining (EUA); Kavango Resources (KAV), run by flip-flop, Ben Turney; Strip Tinning (STG); Deepverge (DVRG); Audioboom (BOOM); and Nanosynth (NNN), where I slash my target price to 0.1p. 95% of you have yet to donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks. Come on, I am sure you can spare a tenner - please do give HERE.
In this podcast, I discuss a double dose of suffering - but not that which I promised - and beg you to donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks, HERE. I also discuss two companies where something stinks badly: HUI International (HUI) and Audioboom(BOOM). And, yes, I have seen the story in the loathsome Mail on Sunday. It stinks, too!
Whiffy investment company, Asimilar (ASLR), has engaged in numerous Spanish practices, exposed on this website. Anyone owning its shares will, one day, need to lube up and take what is coming to them - it is just a matter of when. Could that time be dawning; could the house of cards be about to collapse?
I start with news of flooding at the Welsh Hovel, and end with a reminder of podcasting schedules as I head to the Greek hovel. Then, I apologise to Peter Brailey as I cover: Simec Atlantic (SAE); Kefi (KEFI); Ince (INCE); Arden (ARDN); Cellular Goods (CBX); Chill Brands (FRAUD); Gatemore fund managers and Sensyne (SENS); Mark Slater and the folly of attempting corporate regime change; and Audioboom (BOOM).
I refer to this blow-off piece in the wretched Mail on Sunday, sharedealings by the chairman the next day and alleged bid interest at Audioboom (BOOM). Surely something is wrong here? I discuss the Europa (EOG) fund raise and what the real discount – not the pretend discount referred to in today’s misleading RNS – actually means for all small caps. I look at the shock DotDigital (DOTD) warning and what that says about earnings visibiity generally and would I bottom fish that one stock? Finally I ask if oil proces are close to peaking and if one might bank a few profits?
We on this website, have warned you numerous times abut the financial house of cards, built on sand, which is All Active Asset Management (AAA). But still folks discuss what colour Porsche they will buy when they sell. They assume that the shares must be worth at least 80p, based on the current £120 million fundraise closing, at that price, on October 28.
Today has been dominated by exposing the Umuthi fraud. There is a stack more to come on this over the weekend but I hope you have enjoyed it so far. I discuss another couple of aspects of this case and lessons we should alllearn. Then it is onto Audioboom (BOOM) and All Active Asset Management (AAA).
I start with the 3% pay rise for all employees of the envy of the world which once employed the late Harold Shipman. It is quite dreadful. Then I look at Bluebird Merchant Ventures (BMV), Parsley Box (MEAL) and Audioboom (BOOM).
I comment on St George’s Day HERE. In a long podcast, I look at Versarien (VRS), Audioboom (BOOM) – misleading again – Bluebird Merchant Ventures (BMV), Bitcoin and Argo Blockchain (ARB), Bahamas Petroleum (BPC) and the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME). And we are now just three hundred quid shy of £14,000 for Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks, please donate HERE.
Stuart Last, CEO of Audioboom (BOOM), said today that “Q1 2021 was a breakthrough period” as he yakked on about record sales and a maiden EBITDA but when you deep dive into the numbers, you find that Last is clearly taking the piss. Let’s start with vanity, that is to say sales.
In today’s podcast I look at Alien Metals (UFO), at Novacyt (NCYT) and at Audioboom (BOOM), at spoof boardroom buying and at why broker buy notes are a sell signal. I also chuck a few Covid stats your way as we head for another national lockdown.
Well what is not to like? Having tried to find a buyer for this loss-making POS since February 19, the process has now been terminated and the adviser fired. But Audioboom (BOOM) would not wish you to think badly of it as a result.
It is bad news for gender fluid, Bidstack (BIDS) owning, journalist-defaming moron Mike Turner - the countdown to the next bailout placing is underway. I crunch the numbers and speculate on what boss Lyin’ James Draper will do about it. After that I consider Verditek (VDTK) and its growing catalogue of lies and also warn Innovate UK that I am on its case as I have been alerted to another of its grant scandals. Finally I consider two companies that are desperate to be bid for but which, I suspect, will not be: Audioboom (BOOM) and Eurasia Mining (EUA).
It is we in the private sector that have suffered the massive economic pain from the Government's blundering during Covid. It is also the private sector that will eventually create the jobs and wealth to pay for it. So what is Boris doing? He's landing us with a bigger bill to pay so he can reward doctors (the top 2% of earners), taking the fucking knee policemen and the bedwetting stay-at-home teachers. Fuck you Boris. You and I are done - this was the final straw. After thar brief message from a (now) Plaid Cymru supporter, I look at healthcare bubbles, Aids and Covid, at Midatech Pharma (MTPH), Audioboom (BOOM), Conroy Gold (CGNR), IQE (IQE) and Bidstack (BIDS).
I start by suggesting you read about the clownish Emma Priestley, AIM's most incompetent boss HERE. Then I take great joy from the news that Channel 4 is having to make big cost cuts, but comment on its moral bankruptcy in taking state aid while still paying stars a packet and also what this tells us about companies such as Audioboom (BOOM). I look at the latest daft idea from my local Tory MP, Sarah Atherton, about the taxpayer funding a dying industry. I discuss a chat with Paul Jourdan of Amati, why I think house prices will crash but the bull case for shares. I look at the new dot.com bubble, the Corona bubble discussing, inter alia, Novacyt (NCYT), Tiziana (TILS) and Omega Diagnostics (ODX).
Audioboom (BOOM) may have dispensed with the services of free speech denying, relative hiring, value destroyer Rob Proctor but his successor Stuart Last is equally obsessed with sales at any cost, regarding cash generation (or lack of it) as seemingly irrelevant. As it happens today’s Q1 trading statement may be the last where he boasts about growing sales…
In today's bearcast I look at Versarien (VRS), Sosandar (SOS), Toople (TOOP), Audioboom (BOOM), ADVFN (AFN), Fevertree (FEVR), Zenith Energy (ZEN) and Eden Research (EDEN).
“Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, is pleased to provide an unaudited trading update for the 12 months ended 31 December 2019” – with it emphasising “91% revenue growth and significant year-on-year EBITDA improvement”. The shares have though currently responded to 237.5p – a few percent lower...
I have long criticised the cash guzzling daft business that is Audioboom (BOOM) and its senior management, notably the former CEO free speech denying knobhead Rob Proctor. Now it is the chairman Michael Tobin who today talks patent bollocks. Do these folks not realise how ridiculous they look?
In today's podcast I discuss the ominous silence from Brady (BRY), dare to disagree with Chris "three brains" Bailey on SIG (SHI), look at Bidstack (BIDS) and consider the, incomplete, Q3 trading statement from Audioboom (BOOM), pondering when its next bailout placing will be.
I have noted on this website several times how Audioboom (BOOM) has real form in giving a misleading indication of its cash position and cashburn ahead of a bailout placing. I warned you that it was up to its old tricks again in the final months of 2018 and early 2019 ahead of two placings which came along as predicted. Now the scale of that naughtiness is revealed with dismal interims out today. Here is your timeline.
Sorry for the late podcast but I have spent most of the day renovating another room in the Welsh Hovel. I may post some pictures later but it is far more entertaining than even writing about Neil Woodford's woes or Julie Meyer's lingerie. In today's podcast I look at Thomas Cook (TCG), Audioboom (BOOM), Kier (KIE), Staffline (STAF), Dev Clever (DEV) and the Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT), where, of course, I remain a loyal shareholder. Ho. ho. ho.
Someone wants to gag the free press and has sent me a fascist and ludicrous lawyers letter. But who wants to suffer the curse of the Sheriff? make your guesses in the comments section below. It is not Neil Woodford but I discuss his woes, I look at Karelian Diamonds (KDR) and offer to back those wanting to sack the board, comment again on BlueJay (JAY) and its porky pie and look at results from Audioboom (BOOM). Finally, my cats are now showing their teeth as trained vermin killers.
I start with a tale from my early career and then cover Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN) - the two are related - Iofina (IOF), Portmerion (PMP) and its profits warning, but is it a buy? And finally I look at Audioboom (BOOM) and worry that another placing will be needed soon. Finally, we are over £20,000 now but most bearcast readers are yet to donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks, If you have donated I thank you. If not, please go HERE TODAY
Ahead of lunch with a scouser I encounter someone just out of prison. There you go, life here in the Grim North. I urge you all to follow the lead of Saintly Tech Queen Vin Murria HERE.Greedy AIM bosses screwing shareholders infuriate me and in that vein I cover: Mirriad (MIRI), EVR Holdings (EVRH) and Argo Blockchain (ARB). I also look at FinnCap (FCAP) where the dam is breaking, Share PLC (SHRE), Frontier Smart Technologies (FST) and Audioboom (BOOM).
Last Thursday evening I revealed in a bit of a scoop that Audioboom (BOOM) was trying to raise £8 million at 2.5p. The next morning the company was forced into a statement and said it was trying to raise £5 million at 2.5p. That was not really true - I published the deck the wretched company had sent to potential investors showing it was trying to raise £8 million. Today it fessed up that it has raised just £2.8 million with £1.2 million of that coming from the board and the Candy Brothers chucking good money after bad. What a shower…
This website is placing scoop central. For the avoidance of doubt we do not engage in market speculation we report fact. Peter Greensmith you know that to be the case and are being a knobhead for pretending otherwise. Yes this is a bad language special covering Audioboom (BOOM), Bidstack (BIDS) and Westminster Group (WSG). I also cover Inspirit (INSP) and FairFx (FFX) and explain what has been occupying me today: we have two new cats. Finally as I prepare for a 24 mile training walk on Saturday do the decent thing and donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE
Yesterday I revealed that Audioboom (BOOM) was running around trying to raise £8 million at 2.5p HERE. The Company has responded with an RNS "Statement re Online Commentary on proposed fundraising." Oh come on CEO Rob Proctor you free speech denying knobhead, surely you can brinmg yourself to recognise which fine website scooped you and forced the statement. The statement natch dissembles as I shall demonstrate below.
The codename for the latest bailout funding of Audioboom (BOOM) is Project Coffee. The presentation, which I have seen, gushes about growth opportunities but that is always the way with this serial deliverer of jam tomorrow. There is no mentioning of burgeoning trade payables. That is always the way with Audioboom and its bailout placings. Anyhow, the company is, according to its jargin filled document "now seeking to raise a ‘growth’ capital round of c£8m at c2.5p per share." With the stock at 2.3-25p that might be a bit of an ask. Time for an official comment on this ShareProphets scoop methinks...
Happy Birthday Dad. I hope that you enjoy your "medicinal" apple based gift. I am about ten days from moving house and have just completed a mail relocation form so I shall get my postal vote for the Euros forwarded. I dislike many of the creeps who surround Nigel Farage but his Brexit party has my vote in the bag and I explain why. I look at Management Resource Solutions (MRS) as another red flag emerges for this insolvent piece of crap. I cover Westminster Group (WSG) run by loathsome swine Tony Baldry, Audioboom (BOOM), Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT) and his other dogs and Purplebricks (PURP) in a Joshua interrupted podcast.
I start with a question for wretched PM Theresa May - which of your assessment's of Jeremy Corbyn was correct? I then look at the strange events at Brave Bison (BBSN), take aprt Audioboom's (BOOM) joke trading statement, look at Jersey Oil & Gas (JOG), Management Resource Solutions (MRS) and, finally, thirsty Paul Scott favourite TrakM8 (TRAK). Now how about you all follow the good Craig and donate a "one-er" HERE
I consider what Rob Terry is doing now as I contemplate the latest threat to Watchstone Group (WTG), Quindell (QPP) as was. I look back on a few other fraud busting successes but view them as fairly irrelevant. I am more proud of my work for Woodlarks and, in that vein, again urge you to sponsor Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE. I consider DeepMatter (DMTR), Audioboom (BOOM), Centamin (CEY), Yourgene (YGEN), Big Sofa (BST), I3 Energy (I3E) and Kavango (KAV)
In today's podcast I look at Audioboom (BOOM) in light of today's placing "scoop" in the M ail on Sunday and also what it says about the corruption of the deadwood press. I also comment on the virtue signalling by silly business minister Kelly Tollhurst re diversity on FTSE 100 boards. Suffice to say she, scores a gamma double minus for data analysis.
Free speech denying, relative employing, value destroying serial bullshitter Rob Proctor of Audioboom (BOOM) is at it again with a trading statement that Nomad Allenby should be thoroughly ashamed of, in every respect.
Since I broke up the leaderboard into stories and Bearcasts—as a way of shoehorning in more stories—readers don't really get to see the domination of Bearcasts on the leaderboard, much to Tom's irritation.
In today's podcast I explain why own in-house Bulletin Board Moron Wildes has disappeared, how I am considering kidnapping the Chavs cat, a forthcoming contest and then I look at Amur Minerals (AMC), MX Oil (MXO), Audioboom (BOOM) and Online Blockchain (OBC).
Gabriel's dossier should appear here 2.15 PM London time. It is explosive. In today's podcast I discuss Telit (TCM) and shamed FinnCrap, Halosource (HAL) and hapless Neil Woodford, Audioboom (BOOM) and a backfiring spoof, Tomco (TCM), Yourgene (YGEN) and the weather here in Greece as the olive harvest draws to a close.
Following a week of intense share price weakness, Audioboom (BOOM) has served up, what looks like, a panicked trading statement. It is long on blather but fails to mention the one thing that really matters: the looming cash crisis. This company could be out of money and insolvent by Christmas, indeed sooner, but free speech denying, family on the payroll poltroon of a CEO Rob Proctor fails to address that elephant in the room. I suppose that there is some good news.
In today's extra long bearcast my swearing is minimal and I start with the rather bleak macro picture. How long will the sell-off continue, what is causing it and what should you do? I then look at Audioboom (BOOM OR BUST), Sosandar (SOS), Wey Education (WEY), Frontera (FRR) and Babcock (BAB). You can book free seats to grill Sosandar, Nigel Wray etc on December 3 HERE
I cannot really speak properly. Forgive me, there is good reason. However I offer comment, breaking rumour and analysis on Tern (TERN), Purplebricks (PURP) and the plight of the shorter, Berkeley Energia (BKY) and planned yellow journalism by the tossers at the FT and Audioboom (BOOM) and management spoofery.
Oh dear, oh dear. At what point will those who have backed this crock of shit decide that it is not worth chucking any more cash down this black hole. I know that free speech denying boss Rob Proctor and his relatives on the payroll need jobs but but this company is just a disaster zone. As he wakes up for a meeting with Karma today, Proctor tries to polish the turd but today’s lack of profits/almost out of cash warning is his worst yet. And that takes some doing given his track record of abject operational failure and of consistent value destruction
Ok miserable bastards. I have a train walk with Joshua tonight, a very long one on Sunday ( to Chew I think) and then the big 32 miler in just eight days. So donate to Woodlarks NOW! HERE. In the podcast I look at ersarien (VRS), Optibiotix (OPTI), Big Sofa (BST), Sosandar (SOS), Audioboom (BOOM), Wh Ireland (WHI), Symphony Environmental (SYM) and Feedback (FDBK)
Podcasting platform company Audioboom (BOOM) has announced results for its half year ended 31st May 2018, including emphasising “revenue increased by 43% to £2.6 million (H1 2017: £1.8 million)… adjusted EBITDA loss reduced to £2.2 million (H1 2017: £2.6 million)… Fully funded through to expected cash break even”. Hmmm…
I am now back from my 12-14 mile walk of which the first six were solidly uphill. I have posted details of what happened on my own website HERE - it was an adventure. Think of me trekking up the mountain road and please make a donation to Woodlarks ahead of my 32 mile walk with Dan in two weeks time. Donate here. In today's podcast I look in detail at Audioboom (BOOM) and its statement of yesterday. And I flag up some more red flags regarding Telit (TCM).
Audioboom Group (BOOM) has announced that it is to announce results for its half year ended 31st May 2018 “on or around 20th July” - and also taken the opportunity to hit out at the share price decline since restoration of trading in its shares on 14th June. Hmmm…
I shall soon be on my first training walk in the 34 degree Greek heat. This is just a short five miler but on Friday I plan a 12 mile plus stroll of which the first five miles is solidly uphill. For that surely you can donate a tenner to the Woodlarks charity walk appeal HERE. In today's bearcast I look at MySquar (FRAUD) where I have breaking news, Audioboom (BOOM), Johnston Press (JPR), Safestyle (SFE), Telit (TCM), Conroy Gold (CGNR) and Indivior (INDV).
Bearcasts may be sporadic over the next few days as I explain. By Wednesday I shall be mountain walking in Greece for my Woodlarks training. Think of me with the snakes and in 35 degree heat and donate HERE. Today I look at Optibiotix (OPTI), Audioboom (BOOM), Andalas (ADL), Frontera (FRR), Boxhill (BOX) and KPMG and in some detail at Jim Mellon's failing gold play Condor Gold (CNR).
The mistake in yesterday's podcast was on Telit (TCM). In fact it is even worse than I thought! The good news is that sponsorship of the walk I'm doing with Brokerman Dan for Woodlarks has now topped £9,000. I explain here why this walk makes the difference between Woodlarks having to cut services or carry on, please do give a tenner today. This afternoon sees Joshua and I on another training walk, my second in two days. Think of my pain and COUGH UP HERE. In a long bearcast I predict that, after today's shocking news, FastJet (FJET) will be sold for £1 and explain why. I look at Havelock Europa (HVE), 88 Energy (88E), Lyin' Steve Sanderson's UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Frontera (FRR), Andalas (DOG), Mysquar (FRAUD) and Audioboom (BOOM).
In today's podcast I cover in detail Telit (TCM) and also look at MySquar (MYSQ) partially in light of today's stunning news HERE. I look at Audioboom (BOOM), Frontera (FRR), Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT), Prime People (PRP) and 88 Energy (88E). Tomorrow I will be bored to death by Lucian Miers, he will drone on about West Ham for 6 hours as we complete a 19 mile training walk from Bristol along the Avon to a few miles past Bath. I am building up to my 32 mile walk for Woodlarks with Brokerman Dan on 28 July. Think of my suffering tomorrow and please donate a small sum HERE.
I am still recovering from yesterday's 14 mile training walk for the Woodlarks 32 mile charity walk. Yesterday's trip did not go quite to plan and ended up being a tad longer than expected. I explain all HERE. If you enjoy my suffering I shall do a 20 mile walk next weekend so how about you spare a tenner and sponsor me HERE. In the podcast I ask very hard questions about the sacking of the CEO and FD at Cabot Energy (CAB), formerly Northern Petroleum. I think I know why the P45s and black bags were handed out but Cabot must come clean NOW. Same Nomad, different dog, more questions - MySquar (FRAUD). Then I look at Audioboom (BOOM) and Wishbone Gold (WSBN) where I am a long suffering shareholder. And I smile to myself as I remember watching Germany vs Argentina four years ago in Kambos HERE
I noted yesterday that Gavin Burnell of Globo infamy was one of the team at Novum Securities which raised £4.5 million for Audioboom (BOOM) at 3p – a placing which is already well underwater. How do I know? Because his name is one of three at Novum on the RNS. But here is a funny thing: Burnell is not approved by the FCA to conduct investment business! As you can see below, it reckons he is “inactive.”. I took this up with Novum boss Hugh McAllister…
The reference to scumbags John Belliss and Gavin Burnell is explained in full in this podcast which covers CyanConnode (CYAN), Audioboom (BOOM), Magnolia Petroleum (MAGP), Revolution Bars (RBG), Peter Schiff and the economy, AIQ (AIQ), Tern (TERN) and Haydale (HAYD). Both Brokerman Dan and I are now training with blisters. This weekend I move up to a 14 mile walk ahead of our 32 mile July 28 stroll for Woodarks. Thanks to all who have sponsored us. swe have now raised more than £8,000 with gift aid and are at 34% of our target. To those 90% of you listening who have not pledged, surely you can spare a tenner. You can donate £10 HERE.
Yes, today's training session for my Woodlarks charity walk is down at the gym run by local Tory stalwart Perry. Everyone else there is a muscular body builder. Then there is me. As the muscle men laugh at my pathetic efforts please donate a tenner ( as 95% of you have failed to do) to the 32 mile 28 July charity walk HERE. In the podcast I discuss rescuing junk mail from Oakley's piss and netting £922.77, Audioboom (BOOM) - do the maths, its looking dire even post placing for free speech denying worm Rob Proctor, Feedback (FDBK), Avanti Communications (AVN) and Inmarsat (ISAT), Jim Mellon's Fast Forward (FFWD), LightwaverRF (LWRF), PCGE (PCGE) and AIQ (AIQ).
First of all thanks to so many of you for your kind responses to yesterday's bearcast - I am now in a serious dialogue with the Police and I hope they will catch and prosecute the culprit. In today's podcast I look at the Sunday Times Rich List which is largely fiction, at Audioboom (BOOM), MySquar (MYSQ), Premaitha (NIPT - where we own shares and indeed have bought more - The People's Operator (TPOP) and Telit (TCM)
I cannot hide my pleasure at today's catastrophic news from Audioboom (BOOM). Media companies should believe in free speech - Rob Proctor's outfit buckled at once forcing me to move bearcast elsewhere. And now Proctor's company faces possible bankruptcy in four weeks time. Ha fucking ha. This is a shambles.
A time for celebration as one of the Seven Mythical Creatures has become a reality this month with the long awaited launch of the Melody VR app from EVR Holdings (EVRH). We may never see such events again or at least not the share price anyway.
Hello, Share Chisellers. Mostly I suggest you look at small-cap and penny shares. But every portfolio needs a few ’safer’ stalwarts to keep an even keel. One such company for me is Legal & General (LGEN). Now, most insurance companies have seen their share prices bloat in the last year or so and that happy trend continues.
Bearcasts again dominate our top 10. Podcasts are dominating the iTunes chart. The daily NY Times podcast is now being syndicated to radio. There is something happenening in this space. And really, when you consider it, is there much conceptually different between a broadcast station and a webpage. Webpages have heretofore been static, but they are not regulated and much more freedom of subject matter.
Spoken word audio on-demand platform company Audioboom (BOOM) has announced a proposed $185 million reverse acquisition of USA-headquartered online audio industry technology provider Triton Digital, Inc. – this following shares in Audioboom having risen from 3.34p to above 3.6p yesterday (hmmm!)…
Low grade Broadcast platform Audioboom (BOOM) has served up a year end trading statement today which is stuffed full of jam tomorrow but cannot hide the fact that it remains a cash guzzling monster and that nearly all the money has gone. Yet another bailout placing is inevitable.
In this bonus podcast prompted by recent events at African Potash (AFPO) and ADVFN (AFN) I look back on other bouts of market insanity. There was the radio boom of the 1920s and the dot com boom of 1999-2001 but is the blockchain bubble at 1999, 2000 or 2001? Among the companies also mentioned are On Line (ONL), Vela (VELA), Milestone Group (MSG) and Coinsilium (COIN), where we have a small holding. Madness, my friends, is in the air.
I sense that this is the start of another pump before the dump of yet another bailout placing by the free speech-denying tossers at Audioboom (BOOM). Today we have news that Oli Walters has joined as head of UK sales. Oli pretentious millennial twist on Oliver perhaps? I am sure that he will fit in brilliantly and help rack up an admin overhead which is now closer to £600,000 a month than £500,000.
Audioboom (BOOM) was able to get its shares up by more than 12%, above 2p, yesterday on the back of a “Third Quarter Update”. Unfortunately though this was achieved by CEO Rob Proctor again substituting jam tomorrow verbiage for meaningful financials – as Tom Winnifrith noted in a BearCast HERE. There has since been an update by house broker Allenby Capital…
I covered the Interquest (ITQ) scandal in a separate bearcast HERE. If you like bad language or tales of AIM wrongdoing you will love it. Elsewhere I look at the latest utterly meaningless trading statement from Audioboom (BOOM). Why is its CEO Rob Proctor so averse not only to defending free speech but also to handing out metrics that actuially mean anything. He is another man for the job of lavatory attendant at the Athens bus station. And BTW this company is going to run out of cash AGAIN. I also look at Havelock Europa (HVE), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and 88 Energy (88E). Now SIGH UP FOR A HOT SHARE TIP FREE HERE NOW!
My good pal Roger Lawson will be receiving a superb see you in Court Bitchez letter from my lawyer tomorrow addressing his allegations of libel to go with the one I sent last week concerning his claim of harassment. On Friday his lawyers wrote to poor Audioboom (BOOM) bullying it to take down an April 2016 bearcast So here is a new bearcast for Roger, for ShareSoc, Mr Lawson and for Barbara Streisand.
Roger Lawson of ShareSoc is determined to use his wealth to stop publication of legitimate comments about his writing and share dealing activities and has thus threatened me, Tom Winnifrith with both a libel case and an injunction for harassment.
Audioboom (BOOM) has today announced that CFO, David McDonagh has left "with immediate effect". It says it is looking for a replacement but gives no reason for the departure. And oddly this resignation occurs just one week after the company published interims. It was clearly not planned.
Audioboom (BOOM), which describes itself as “the leading spoken word audio on-demand platform”, has announced results for its half year ended 31st May 2017, with CEO Rob Proctor arguing “we are ideally placed to be a leading player in this next evolution of the internet”…
I was going to have my usual weekend dig at one of the many over-promoted pieces of crap on the lower reaches of AIM but thought instead I should lift up my head and look further afield and take a pop at most over-promoted stock in the global markets with a proper superhero at the helm, namely Tesla Motors (NSDQ: TSLA) and the irrepressible Elon Musk.
Audioboom (BOOM) has updated on the second quarter of its year, emphasising “strong performance for the first quarter of the year continued”. However, the shares have currently responded lower. Hmmm…
Spoken word audio on-demand platform company, Audioboom (BOOM) has announced results for its year ended 30th November 2016. Hmmm – more than five months after the year-end then, rarely a good sign…
Dad and I got back from the hospital and were sitting down to lunch. water for me, wine for him. After a morning with a range of Shipmans he deserved it. Who should bound in but the vicar from our old village of Byfield. I told him that I had recently written an article about wringing his neck HERE. He then gushed out a stream of left wing views on Trump, Brexit and other matters that were so barking mad that even my Guardian reading father was a bit taken aback. A bitter attack on Uncle Chris Booker was the final straw. No wonder the CofE is going to the dogs. On the podcast that followed I cover Orogen (ORE) where we are in and backing Adam Reynolds again, Nyota (NYO), Audioboom (BOOM), Andalas Energy (ADL) and Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO).
Noting the balance sheet position (and related-party transactions) suggested continued caution, I previously updated on spoken-word audio platform company Audioboom (BOOM) earlier this month as the shares were recovering above 3p on the back of a “First Quarter KPI Update” announcement. Now BOOM – it’s discounted placing ahoy!...
Yes, I shall be recording my first ever joint bearcast - if one excludes ones where Oakley has chipped in. The date is April 1, my opponent is Paul Scott. Will it be TrakM8 or checkmate? The venue London in a new bonus session at UK Investor Show. I explain more about this total one-off in today's podcast. It is 4 weeks to the day to UK Investor and tickets are 85% booked out so if you are not booked in book NOW! On this podcast I also look at Brave Bison (BBSN) and TrakM8 (TRAK) and how cost cutting can itself prompt a cash crisis. I look at Audioboom (BOOM) with a more generous eye. I look at Glenwick (GWIK), now booted off AIM, which stinks. And I look at the idea of investing in shite companies to make money, ref Red Leopard (RLH) and Cynical Bear. This also brings me to ECR (ECR) where we own shares and I now see arch ramper Big Gib is on board. Over to you Big Gob do not let me stop you!
My second punt for the weekend is even more rash than my first, but having seen Chris Akers pull off a bit of magic at EVR Holdings (EVRH), I’m struggling to resist a little dabble at Red Leopard Holdings (RLH) which he rescued this week with a £250,000 investment.
Shares in spoken-word audio platform company Audioboom (BOOM) are currently recovering above 3p on the back of a “First Quarter KPI Update” announcement. Hmmm, let’s take a look…
Audioboom (BOOM) has updated that it “has received a further acceptance of its offer to purchase the entire issued share capital of SONR” and “is in the process of exercising the squeeze-out rights… to acquire, on a compulsory basis, the remaining balance”. It looks like the 100% acquisition in a murky related-party transaction is thus nearing completion…
This morning’s RNS from EVR Holdings (EVRH) made me look again at this AIM darling and I have reassessed. I ended my last piece on 6 January on the topic with the sentence: “For the avoidance of doubt, I’m not calling the top…….yet. Just keep on moving that stop loss up and enjoy the ride!” Well, I’m calling it now, it’s time to get off the ride!
Having last month noted on spoken-word audio platform company Audioboom (BOOM) that nearly all the money’s gone AGAIN, I note an announcement today of an agreement to acquire SONR News Ltd for an all-share £1.42 million and the issue of a £1 million, 10% interest, convertible loan note...
In September I used EVR Holdings (EVRH) as a case study in ‘How to make money out of a Chris Akers stock’ and suggested that it could rise from around 3p and wouldn’t be surprised to seeing it hit 6p, but would perhaps get out then. Well, it hit my target price this week, more quickly than I initially envisaged, so what would I do now?
I start with thanks for all the offers of support in dealing with the criminal poltroon Aidan Earley of Worthington (WRN) - now in liquidation - infamy. I then look at Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) and the questions it is NOT answering. Then I touch on Audioboom (BOOM) before going onto Parallel Media (PAA) before ending up with the basket case that is Inspirit Energy(INSP), its bleak future and its links to the Teathers Financial (TEA) scandal. Finally I brace myself for a night of woe tomorrow.
Previously writing on spoken-word audio platform company, Audioboom (BOOM) I noted “agreement for investment from China ‘not yet been reached’, surely not to be cash crunch ahoy AGAIN!”. The company is now “pleased to provide an update on its Q4 KPIs and trading for the year ended 30 November 2016” and, well, er…
Though I may have pneumonia thanks to Paul Scott, I am now safely in Kalamata looking up at the mountains where I live when in Greece and the storm clouds are ominous. So back to the stockmarket I look at Finnaust (FAM), Audioboom (BOOM), Avanti Communications (TOAST), Condor Gold (CNR), Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO), Webis (WEB) and Anglesey Mining (AYM) which is spouting bullshit today as it places.
How is that for a Thanksgiving mixed metaphor of a title? In this podcast I look at denial, red flags and bending the rules on the Casino. Among the companies covered today are: Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO), Cloudtag (CTAG), African Potash (AFPO), Fastjet (FJET) and the insider dealing, Mkango Resources (MKA), London Capital (LCG), Audioboom (BOOM), Milestone Group (MSG) and I flag up that Steve & I have a hot share tip you can access for just £5 coming up very soon HERE
Yes, I am indeed resident at a motorway service station as I explain HERE. In today's podcast I look at ethics, Milestone (MSG), Strat Aero (AERO), SalvaRx (SALV), Gulf Keystone (GKP), Blur (BLUR) - as a long I kid you not - and Audioboom (BOOM), er..less so.
Yes my royalties have arrived. I comment on Audioboom (BOOM), Andalas Energy (ADL), Inspirit Energy (INSP) and Cloudtag (CTAG). My other podcast on why Hillary Clinton is the World War Three candidate is HERE.
Later today I shall record another most excellent Bearcast using the Audioboom (BOOM) platform which to date appears to have generated advertising revenue for me of er...nothing at all. That is somewhat below what I was led to expect but who cares, I bring you my expletive ridden thoughts for the sheer pleasure of it. Let's start early today with the tourette's: The Audioboom trading statement is just plain shite.
I am in a bad mood because a) baby with no name is screaming a lot and I am tired and b) some little shit for brains round at Beaufort Securities was slagging me off to a client today. This little turd of little brain turned out to have his facts wrong and so I am now officially on the warpath and, hence, go through today's morning note from Belfort and dissect its utterly 100% shite research on Strat Aero (AERO), Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) and Servision (SEV). I also look at Audioboom (BOOM) and Kodal Minerals (KOD).
On 5th August Rob Proctor, CEO of spoken word audio platform Audioboom (BOOM), was “pleased to report that Audioboom has made further tangible progress in H1 2016, growing revenue, securing significant new content partners and further broadening its geographic distribution”. However, the financials showed it was cash crunch ahoy. Less than an hour later it was placing ahoy and there is now a “Strategic investment discussions update”…
EVR Holdings (EVRH) has shown impressive share price growth since coming to market via an RTO in May earlier this year increasing from 1.1p to 2.95p at close on Friday so I thought it was time to review the stock and use it as a case study to show how one can make money out of company connected to Chris Akers.
I noted a week ago, here, that Audioboom (BOOM) shares were weak and that since it was running out of cash I reckoned a placing was afoot. Lo and behold there is indeed a £2.55 million placing at 2.5p today but there is also a stream of other announcements which are a red flag festival. This is a horror story.
I start with Gulf Keystone (GKP) and a share price driven by morons. talking of morons, London's most useless Nomad, Roland "fatty" Cornish has screwed up again. This time it is Nyota Minerals (NYO) although the real issue here is when is Nyota bust. I think it might be already. I look at Avanti and ask who is smarter: Tom Dobell of M&G, a Bulletin Board Moron or an institutional investor in bonds. I look at Koovs (KOOV), Essentra (ESNT) and Audiooboom (BOOM).
Shares in spoken‐word audio platform company Audioboom (BOOM) currently trade more than 20% higher at 3.5p on the back of an announcement that its Chief Executive Rob Proctor has purchased 650,000 shares in the company at 2.98p each. Hmmm…
I start with two matters from yesterday's Budget which I neglected to mention in my otherwise excellent post Budget podcast HERE. The I move not to Sirius Minerals (SXX), which I shall cover in a seperate article elsewhere following a chat with Chris Frazer which left me quite impressed, but to Sirius Petroleum (SRSP) which is a dog with fleas and whose placing today stinks. Then it is onto Wandisco (WAND), Gulf Keystone (GKP) - where are my fucking apologies from the morons? - Audioboom (BOOM), Challenger Acquisitions (CHAL) and the uber perma dog Sareum (SAR) before I engage in a lengthy discussion on Fitbug (FITB) another perma dog.
Rob Proctor, CEO of spoken-word audio platform, Audioboom (BOOM) states “I and the team are obviously delighted with our progress during Q1. With the appointment of commercial directors in the USA, UK and India, combined with increased activity of the Cumulus media sales team, I believe that Audioboom is now acutely focussed on the key elements of its business, allowing it to target revenue growth and long-term profitability for shareholders”. The shares though are currently down more than 10%, at 3.125p. Hmm…
It is International Women's Day and I ponder how to celebrate now that the Mrs has cooked my breakfast and been made aware that my West Ham shirt needs cleaning. Then to the markets. Solgold (SOLG ) announced its placing last night - as I flagged it would at the weekend HERE - next up is Rose Petroleum (ROSE) where I flagged up the timing of the placing it must surely announce soon 90 days ago HERE. It is just about doing the bloody maths. I have a detailed look at Audioboom (BOOM) and then have a new message for the disgraced failed CEO pig that is Richard.Chase@NyotaMinerals.com. My other podcast to which I refer on why the sordid deal with Turkey MUST make you vote for Brexit is HERE
Rules are rules and whether it is soccer playing sex offenders or AIM Companies you have to stick to them. Moreover a COI is a COI even if sign off on and some may be legally kosher but are morally wrong. I refer to my rows with DS on 3Legs Resources (3LEG). I look at Monitise (MONI), rats leaving AIM, viz Edge Resources (EDG) & UMC Energy (UEP). I ask where is the fraud at African Potash (AFPO)? And then - to entertain Wildes - I look at LGO Energy (SHITE) again as well as at Iofina (IOF) - when will it fess up? I also ask a question of Audioboom (BOOM)
One other point I wanted to highlight in the world of the subscale investment companies is the incestuous nature of the beast and although there are many I could have looked at, I have chosen Yolo Leisure and Technology plc (YOLO).
Brought to you on Audioboom (BOOM). A few thoughts on why shares in er...Audioboom, are overvalued at 2.875p and why I see a placing as inevitable within the next few weeks.
Audioboom (BOOM) has announced “it has been selected as one of 11 podcast/spoken word content partners for the new look Google Play application in the USA”. This follows an announcement last month of the signing of a partnership Heads of Terms with leading Indian film company Eros, but the shares are continuing to head lower – currently at 3.375p having commenced the year at more than 4p and been briefly over 16p in 2014. The following reviews…
Featuring shares in Argoes Resources (ARG), Audioboom (BOOM), Earthport (EPO), Ortac Resources (OTC), Sareum (SAR) and Sovereign Mines of Africa (SMA) with share price targets for all six stocks.
Featuring shares in Audioboom (BOOM), Finnaust Mining (FAM), Fastforward Innovations (FFWD), Kibo Mining (KIBO), Octagonal (OCT) and UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) with share price targets set for all six stocks.
If you want me to analyse a stock for you just drop me a line at sqmir@hotmail.com - Today I look at shares in Audioboom (BOOM), Avanti Communications (AVN) and IQE (IQE) setting share price targets for all three stocks.
Heck if you are a shareholder in a Jabba The Hutt company they might even work for you. I am on new prescription pills and flying. In today's podcast I cover LGO Energy (LGO), tiouch on Afriag (AFRI) and then InternetQ (INTQ) more on that tomorrow, target price 0p. There is a detailed look at Audioboom (BOOM) and a look at Circle Oil (COP) and Tribal (TRB) which have a lot in common with 3 big name zeros I call out in the latest UK Investor Show magazine out today HERE . Finally a look at Tertiary Minerals (TYM) and Concha (CHA)
Spoken-word audio platform group Audioboom (BOOM) has updated first on its ‘KPIs’ (including the likes of record total monthly and quarterly listens, 859 new content channels added during the quarter and over 275,000 new registered users signing up) and then on its financials & outlook; including “revenues increased significantly on the previous year but are below market expectations” and “shift in timing and pace of adoption will have an impact on expected full year revenues for 2016”. Uh-oh…
Featuring shares in Audioboom (BOOM), Arria NLG (NLG), Falcon Oil & Gas (FOG), InternetQ (INTQ) and Westminster Group (WSG) with share price targets for all five stocks
Featuring shares in Asiamet Resources (ARS), Audioboom (BOOM), Orosur Mining (OMI), Optibiotix (OPTI), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), together with some share price targets.
Featuring shares in Aminex (AEX), Audioboom (BOOM, Concha (CHA), Optibiotix (OPTI), Sovereign Mines of Africa (SMA), together with some share price targets.
“A big deal is on the way”, “heads of terms being agreed right now”, “contract to be signed in a week”, “the news will be massive”; these are just some of the rumours currently ricocheting round about AIM tiddler Armstrong Ventures (AVP). Priced at 0.0169p and with a modest 23billion shares in issue, Armstrong Ventures’ market cap is £3.9million. Putting money into a stock like this is the investment equivalent of playing with fire, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make a turn on it - so long as you dive for the exit at the right moment.
Featuring shares in Audioboom (BOOM), Bellzone Mining (BZM), Hague & London Oil (HNL), Pantheon Resources (PANR), Scancell Holdings (SCLP), Sovereign Mines of Africa (SMA), together with some share price targets.
Featuring shares in AFC Energy (AFC), Audioboom (BOOM), CEB Resources (CEB), Mariana Resources (MARL), Strat Aero (AERO), Xcite Energy(XEL) with share price targets for all six stocks.
Since I previously updated on Audioboom Group (BOOM) and its “global strategy to create the world's first audio content syndication and advertising network”, the company has announced ‘Quarterly key performance indicators’ and, today, a ‘Resignation of director’…
So much to discuss today on the podcast. On this wet day in Bristol my life is brightened by a stream of disastrous RNS announcements. In no particular order I discuss Geong (GNG), Vmoto (VMT), Jiasen (JSI), JQW (JQW), RSA (RSA), Boohoo (BOO) - why the UK's top share blogger Paul Scott is wrong - LGO Energy (LGO), oil prices, Antrim Energy (AEY), Belgravium (BVM), Arian Silver (AGQ), Audioboom (BOOM), Proxama Resources (PROX) and in a bit of detail Seeing Machines (SEE).
If you want me to analyse a stock for you just drop me a line at sqmir@hotmail.com - Today I look at Audioboom (BOOM), Infrastrata (INFA), Savannah Resources (SAV)
This is the first podcast using the Audioboom (BOOM) platform - if it sounds rubbish/does not arrive blame the IT klutz me not Rob Proctor. In today's offering I look at Haike Chemical (HAIK), Jiasen (JSI), Camkids (CAMK), ValirX (VAL) and a few other matters en passant.
It is 9/11 and I look back 14 years. I also reflect on the Orwellian way we all viewed Syria earlier this week. Looking forward, we have sold 90% of the restaurant in Clerkenwell to the pizza hardman Darren Atwater. we end up slightly ahead on the deal but I have had enough of running businesses and blame my own old age and the Tories for that. This is the start of my wind-down. On AIM its a cracking day with another China fraud kill, China Chaintek (CTEK) and more fun and games at Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN), Redhall (RHL), Monitise (MONI), Sefton Resources (SER, Cloudbuy (CBUY) and Golden Saint Resources (GSR). And I am getting into bed with Rob Proctor of Audioboom (BOOM). Not literally but...well I explain in full. in the podcast.
AudioBoom (BOOM) is a perplexing company. It feels like a tech start-up but, rather than pursue round after round of venture capital, AudioBoom last year instead listed on AIM. It currently sits at 5p per share. Two days ago, it was announced that YOLO Leisure & Technology (the Candy Brothers) had bought one million shares at 3p each.
A relatively short podcast today from Shipston in Warwickshire as I am recovering from falling down the stairs. No. Before you ask, I was sober as a judge. On the agenda today: a chat with Nigel Wray, Sefton Resources (SER), Gable (GAH), Herencia Resources (HER), China Chaintek (CTEK) and Tern. I forgot to mention Audioboom (BOOM) - more on that tomorrow.
Featuring shares of African Potash (AFPO), Audioboom (BOOM), Sefton Resources (SER), Trinity Exploration (TRIN), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), XTR Resources (XTR), together with some share price targets.
What a total waste of a day, dealing with Dan Levi (the bank robber, reformed) vs Ben Turney (the legal drug dealer, reformed). Dan's expose is HERE. Ben's response is HERE. What a total waste of my day, I am so tempted to just give up altogether. But isntead I outline why the prohibition never works and how I am responding to the allegations: by wasting money on bringing in a barrister to investigate them in full for a report we will publish here. Then I turm to Audioboom (BOOM) and NorthWest Investment Group (NWIG). If the world was different I'd be booking a one way ticket to Greece and throwing my laptop in the sea. Surely both Dan and Ben can go after real villains and just leave me in peace.
With its shares have risen towards 17p last year and commenced 2015 at more than 10p, a bearish stance on Audioboom Group (BOOM) has proven wise since – with the shares slipping below 4p last month. The announcement of the placing out of an existing equity stake of 10.8% in the company has though currently helped the shares recover a further approaching 17%, to 5.25p, but does this change the picture here?
Featuring shares of AFC Energy (AFC), Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO), Audioboom (BOOM), Quindell (QPP), Range Resources (RRL), together with some share price targets.
Featuring Audioboom (BOOM), Blinkx (BLNX), Cap-XX (CPX), Castleton Technologies (CTP), Netscientific (NSCI), Proxama (PROX)
Audioboom Group (BOOM) has announced “key performance indicators” for the second quarter of its year to end November 2015. How helpful though are these in assessing the investment promise on offer?
