Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I'm cancelling my sub because you are so horrid to Versarien

In today's podcast I look at the ludicrous idea of Tax Justice UK and Oxfam for a new wealth tax like the Spanish one. Whatever. Then I look at Intu (INTU) and finally at Versarien (VRS).

Kefi – Good news from Ethiopia

We noted in our last update that the last piece of the Tulu Kapi jigsaw was getting Government agreement on resettling some natives so that mine construction could go ahead. The good news is that the locals want to be paid to relocate. That piece of the jigsaw is now in place.

My penultimate appeal for your cash – THREE days to the Woodlarks walk, £18,000 now raised – we want & Woodlarks wants and needs twenty!

Sunday was my last big training walk – 22, 23 or 24 miles in the Somerset hills. I am not sure how long it was as the signs were dreadful and I got a bit lost.  But I made it and feel confident that this Saturday coming up I can do the 32 miles from Horse Hill to Woodlarks with fellow rogue bloggers Brokerman Dan and Lucian Miers.

Woodlarks total income last year was less than Oxfam's CEO earned - a video on where that little money went

Last year Woodlarks managed to do amazing work despite receiving income of just £126,650. That is less than the disgraced now ex CEO of Oxfam earned (excluding his generous expenses). With that cash it does some amazing work as the video below shows.  Brokerman Dan and I want to increase Woodlarks income by 20% in one go by raising £20,000 (+ gift aid) from sponsors for our 32 mile walk on July 28. We are now 39% there and we thank all who have backed us already. If you have not: Please please watch the video and sponsor us now HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - why is a stock promoter like an Oxfam Aid worker, oops I meant paedophile

Sorry, but I have Oxfam on my mind. Seeing the downfall of these virtue signallers who I have long despised is hugely entertaining.  However there is a link, this is not a contrived headline. In this podcast I discuss Mayan Energy (MYN), Andalas (ADL)(, Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN) and The People's Operator (TPOP)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: If I wrote that Oxfam were a bunch of Guardian reading incompetent tossers, I meant to say visionaries

My comments about Oxfam relate to Mkango Resources (MKA) - see the link on the right of this page. In the podcast I also cover Totally (TLY), PGC Entertainment (PGCE), African Potash (AFPO) where I now am sure I know when the Nomad quit and why, Cambria Auto (CAMB) and Westminster Group (WSG). I also answer Malcolm's  earlier question on Premier (PMO). No. Malcolm. No.

Malcolm Stacey in search of the Money Tree - Part 6

The token deluded lefty on this website, Comrade Malcolm Stacey is taking a well-earned break on a desert safari searching for the mythical money tree which he and his fellow lefties both worship and believe in. On day 6 we hear that Malcolm has still not found the great Money Tree but inow faces a cash crisis. Why will these folks in the desert accept is Oxfam gold Amex card or his Co-Op Visa Delta? Why do they demand cash only and why will they accept only wicked US dollars not Malcolm's beloved Euros? This is all a conspiracy by the evil bankers and Malcolm knows who encouraged that sort of thing. It's all the fault of Thatcher. In Malcolm's absence we bring you a few words from his timeless classic, The Armchair Tycoon.
