Optibiotix - warrants extended thanks to Pizza Hardman Darren Atwater: BUY

Optibiotix (OPTI) held an EGM of warrant holders earlier this week to vote on extending the date at which we must exercise out to 2022 from er...next week. There are really very few warrant holders left.

The Cloudtag Moron & Ramper in Chief finds motivation online & tweets the news

So what if Cloudtag (CTAG) is a fraud which lies to investors, has no revenues (other than bogus made up ones in RNS statements) and is running out of cash? So what if its shares are now just 4.75p to sell ( down from 25p a couple of months ago) and are heading to nil. The ramper in chief Liam Nicholas is undeterred. His lie packed website about the fraud may not be getting much traffic these days but the man who works for a white van rental company and lives, like me, here in Bristol has a message of hope for the deluded. Forget fundamental analysis or impending news....

With Barbarians at the Gate Bowleven's useless board blathers about jam tomorrow (again)

Facing a shareholder revolt which will - as explained HERE - see a grossly overpaid and under-achieving board kicked into the long grass and new directors put in charge to realise shareholder value, the old directors of Bowleven (BLVN)have issued a statement which is covered in jam tomorrow. Plus ca change.

A Latin lesson for the Cloudtag Bulletin Board Savants

My attention is drawn to comments on the ADVFN Bulletin Board (Cloudtag thread natch) where various savants who, one suspects, are not classically educated accuse me of not pronouncing ceteris paribus correctly. Just to clarify.

Long Live the Revolution - If You Buy the Shares

Hello Share Twangers. Though not a revolutionary sort of person, I do rather like an intriguing name when it comes to stumping up for shares. Revolution Bars (RBG) has a romantic ring to it, don’t you think?

Card Factory – trading statement sees return of like-for-like’s, wonder why they went away?

Having previously noted on Card Factory (CARD) slowed sales growth & where are like-for-likes?, I now note “Trading Statement” and “Directorate Change” announcements from the cards and gifts retailer...

African Potash - now about that $600,000 fund raise, admit it fraudsters you are fucked, shares slide again

Now booted off AIM and listed on the NEX Markets lobster pot the fraud African Potash (AFPO) is almost out of cash, owes the FD's fragrant wife Katrina Clayton $985,000 so where is the rescue placing it admitted it needed? Admit it CEO lyin' Chris Cleverley your company is almost insolvent - when will you fess up and suspend the shares?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Explaining exactly why Cloudtag is not a bad company it is a FRAUD

Apparently some folks think that Cloudtag (CTAG) is just a bad company not a fraud. I explain to such folks the difference between a fact and an opinion (Latin scholars are aware of this already) and why exactly that makes this company a 100% fraud. Its shares are now just 4.75p to sell but the target remains 0p as it is a fraud. Then it is on to the importance of NEDS and what they are there for ref Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO). Then I move to Ashley House (ASH) and a bit of macroeconomics, to Grand Group (GIPO) and onto Galantas Gold (GAL)

Whitbread: don’t freak at geek metrics

First trading update of my (long) tip of the year for 2017 and the shares are down 4%. Worried? Of course not…the Whitbread (WTB) share price is still nicely above where I recommended it…and frankly we are not even a month into the year. The magnitude of the move today reflects the (to use a wonderful phrase poached from a fellow market observer) wildebeest financial market backdrop we have at the moment…

EMIS

EMIS Group – updates on performance “in line”, so why are the shares sliding?

A trading update announcement from EMIS Group (EMIS) includes that “performance for the year was in line with the board's expectations”, so why are the shares currently around 8% lower, at 870p?...

Falanx - share option awards, the structure is bloody good news: another winning share tip

Normally we do not like share options for management. They are one way bets and are not structured to incentivise but merely to reward the board by diluting those who actually have to put cash up front, mug punters, ordinary investors such as you and us.

Advanced Oncotherapy: GOTCHA again - another NED walks as predicted here

On December 2 2016 I suggested here that Advanced Oncotherapy NED Tim Lebus had had enough and was walking. The lying snot-gobblers round at Advanced declined to comment. Guess what? He has walked with immediate effect today. It gets better, if you are a bear.

EVR Holdings – That’s enough of the larks, I’m calling the top - SELL

This morning’s RNS from EVR Holdings (EVRH) made me look again at this AIM darling and I have reassessed. I ended my last piece on 6 January on the topic with the sentence: “For the avoidance of doubt, I’m not calling the top…….yet. Just keep on moving that stop loss up and enjoy the ride!” Well, I’m calling it now, it’s time to get off the ride!

DiamondCorp – grim after-hours update, light at end of tunnel fading fast

Having wondered whether there may be light at the end of a very long tunnel for AIM- and JSE AltX-listed DiamondCorp (DCP), the company released a very disappointing update last night. Even more disappointingly, the RNS hit the wire at 6.31pm, delaying the close of the RNS system for the day. Talk about no-one-is-watching o’clock. The news was bad enough, the contempt for shareholders shown by the timing is a disgrace. It looks like all that may be on the menu is toast.

TMO

Time Out Group – 2016 trading update, revenue is vanity…

Time Out Group (TMO) “is pleased to announce” that “revenue for the full year is anticipated to be ahead of the board's expectations” and “closing net cash expected to be better than previously anticipated”. So why are the shares barely ahead, at 137p?...

CloudTag - volume spikes up, shares spike er.....down. Who's selling?

There seems to have been quite a bit of volume yesterday in trading of AIM-listed CloudTag (CTAG). Some of us have been noting the rather greater difficulty with which L1 has been offloading stock from loan conversions and warrant exercises which goes in tandem with lower volume - and a complete lack of news from the company to get the BBs in a lather, but yesterday things really picked up. Sadly for shareholders, the share price has not been picking up, it has been on the slide.

United Cacao: want to know about the mega fraud or do you want the bad news?

United Cacao (CHOC) which has until February 4 to find a new nomad or it will be slung off AIM has bad news and very bad news. Let's start with the very bad news - it appears to have engaged in massive fraud. When I say "it" the allegation is against former head honcho Dennis Melka who walked the plank on January 5.

Apology to Aidan Earley - you are in fact a twice Discharged bankrupt but...

Yesterday I accused Aidan Earley of being an undischarged bankrupt, on the basis of two conversations with the administrator of that bankruptcy, the firm of Kingston Smith. My Earley denied that this was the case and I apologise. I was misinformed. Mr Earley is in fact a (twice) discharged bankrupt. Aidan I am sorry. If I make a factual error I always apologise and run a correction..

Restaurant Group – trading update, facing a perfect storm?

Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito, Coast to Coast and Brunning & Price operator, Restaurant Group (RTN) has announced a “Post Close Trading Update” including that “results are expected to be in line with previous guidance”. However, the shares are currently more than 10% lower, heading towards 300p (though a still more than £600 million market cap), in response...
