Feeling like I am on acid at the Ariana Resources party - the ghost of convicted felon Charlie Gibson

By Tom Winnifrith | Tuesday 30 June 2015

Ariana Resources (AAU) is ten years old. I really do admire its battling CEO Kerim Sener who is a really very good chap. The shares are – at 1.15p mid – very cheap and so I was delighted to attend its 10th anniversary on the AIM casino party tonight. I return very well refreshed - it has been one hell of a trip.

I started off chatting to Malcolm Palle of Mining Maven who is a good bloke. He introduced me to a bald headed fellow who said “Oh you are Tom Winnifrith” and then launched into a diatribe about what a total tosser I was.

Hmmm. It turned out that he was the gopher of Charlie Gibson at Edison Research and he had a real issue about me exposing Champagne Charlie for being a convicted felon drink driving member of the upper classes who beats up members of the working classes because he regards it as his birth right.

I am delighted that Champagne Charlie’s gopher wishes to slate me for highlighting the fact that Gibson is a convicted criminal. I take it that Edison is on the side of crime as opposed to the free press. Or perhaps Edison would like to make a public statement condemning any of its analysts who abuse and harass the free press for exposing crime? Go on Edison do you back your analysts in supporting convicted criminals or do you support a free press?

Motherfucking crony capitalists – no wonder you are viewed with almost universal contempt. I await your apology for the naked aggression I was shown tonight.  No I don’t.  You won’t apologise because you are motherfuckers who will publish utter shite as long as you are paid. You are the prostitutes of the research world and are morally bankrupt at every level.

I await an apology from Edison for the behaviour of its analyst. Until it does I shall be providing a daily reminder of Charlie Gibson’s antics until I get bored. Is not Google wonderful?

But it got better. The next chap I bumped into was Roland “fatty” Cornish of New World and Gate infamy.

At this point I should note that Amanda Van Dyke was there to ensure that I was on best behaviour. Mr Cornish thinks that I am fatter than he is.  And so I have challenged him to a race to the top of a Turkish mountain next year. Also roped into the race is PR man Hugo de Salis who was worrying about his figure.

Game on “fatty” I shall start training just for you. There is more chance of your former client Gate Ventures (GATE) getting its shares unsuspended than of you winning.

It was a ball.  Thank you to Kerim for an entertaining evening. Ariana is a buy. Edison is a POS.
