Shares Stick Again, but There Are Increasing Signs my Rosy Predictions Might Come True.
Hello Share Wigglers. Since summer, I’ve been predicting a stock market resurgence with a particular boom in the few weeks before Christmas. Though the bull run has yet to start, I still think it’s only a matter of time before our shares are more likely to be coloured blue than red. So we could begin buying now. And here are some solid reasons why.premium content

IQE plc (IQE) has announced that CEO Americo Lemos yesterday “purchased 1,367,012 ordinary shares… at a price of 17.15p”. What of this and the shares currently up to above 18p in response?- By Steve Moore |

Physiomics – grant award it considers “a testimony to the innovative culture of our company”. Is it really though?…
Stating that it offers cutting edge techniques and expertise to streamline drug development journeys, Physiomics (PYC) “is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a grant by Innovate UK and The Office for Life Sciences as part of the UK Government's Advancing Precision Medicine programme… we believe is a testimony to the innovative culture of our company”. Hmmm, what of a current share price of 1.6p then – down from above 5p early this year?- By Steve Moore |

Harland & Wolff – deeply discounted, keep the lights on, placing imminent? Tim Kempster
Shorter Tim Kempster says that by his sums Harland & Wolff (HARL) runs out of money either in December or early January. My analysis on this website has been permanently bearish and I agree with Tim. And in that vein I see that the shares are weaker today, at 13.5p having been pumped in recent weeks by ramptastic announcements. I also see that…- By Tom Winnifrith |

Jubilee Metals – “Q1 Operational Report”, still a growth roll-out Buy

Technology Minerals – now about that legal action over the unpaid £391,000
Oddly enough Technology Minerals (TM1) – the company that stinks with numerous links to the fraudster Chris Cleverly of Tingo (US:TIO) infamy – has not mentioned this huge legal threat. I do hope it has flagged this up with the FCA as it struggles to get an RTO prospectus approved. I bet it has not.- By Tom Winnifrith |

Why are Diageo’s shares down 10% today?
You all probably know a lot more about Johnnie Walker, Guinness, Tanqueray, Baileys, Smirnoff, Captain Morgan, Crown Royal and Don Julio drinking realities than me. As a boring teetotal analyst for the last thirty years, I have no idea if they taste nice, make you feel good and the like, but I can see what is popular and respected via the boring old world of supply, demand and pricing power. And on all those fronts, I can fully understand why the company is still seeing its business “momentum continuing in four of our five regions”. What surprises me a little is the chat this morning that, “due to a weaker performance outlook in Latin America and Caribbean”, the company has had to issue a dodgy trading update.- By Chris Bailey |

Chill Brands – it is what it is NOT saying
The ramping continues with news that Chill Brands (CHLL) is to plug its nicotine free vapes via a wholesaler website. With almost zero brand awareness it is hard to see many small independent stores placing orders via this channel but in the absence of any positive financials to ramp the shares ahead of the next bailout placing any news will do. But it is what it is NOT saying that matters.- By Tom Winnifrith |

Aptamer – full-year results, has bad news again travelled slowly?
Writing on group describing itself as a “developer of novel Optimer binders to enable innovation in the life sciences industry” Aptamer (APTA), earlier this week with the shares down to 1.225p I concluded that I continued to avoid with also results for its year ended 30th June 2023 still needing to be delivered despite last year the results announced in mid-October. With it announcing the results now, has bad news again travelled slowly?

Fusion Antibodies – trading update estimates “cash runway has been maintained”. Has it really though?!…
Previously writing on antibody contract research organisation Fusion Antibodies (FAB), in August with the shares down to 6.625p I concluded they were a trading concerns avoid. A “half year trading update” announcement from the company now includes that it “has achieved a marked growth in the sales pipeline with overall values now standing at approximately four times that of six months ago”, but what of the shares currently materially further lower at below 4p in response?

Kamran Sattar of Portillion dropped me a note on November 3rd to give me a heads up that he was calling a GM to sack the board of Reabold Resources (RBD). This really is like choosing between scylla and charibdis as I explained to him - he has goofed..- By Tom Winnifrith |

NightCap – more bad news but where is the dog's real bark?
In 2022 Nightcap (NGHT) warned on 3 November that (piss poor) results would be out on 10 November. So far this year we have had no news on the numbers and it is blindingly obvious that Sarah Willingham’s company is pregnant with the current year’s lack of profits warning. Good news travels fast, bad news is always delayed. So instead of any news on the results/profits warning, to sugar the pill, we have another piece of bad news dressed up as good.- By Tom Winnifrith, the Sheriff of AIM |

I still am a fan of Wood Group shares
I am a bit disappointed that Wood Group (WG.) shares are down a couple of percent this morning as I write. Its third quarter update, after all, concluded that its full year outlook was confirmed. As always, it depends what is already priced in, and what is said about what is likely to go on next year and beyond. Investment is always an analytical game at many levels.- By Chris Bailey |
